Branding the Sun

Conveying the brightness and power of the sun was achieved by simplifying it to its most basic form and applying a simple blur to its edges. Combined with a strong yellow and warm color palette, the sun appears to be as bright as noon day.

Fab2Farm: Why Solar Now?

Designing for a Technical Audience

The intended audience for the fab2farm website is highly trained engineers at utility-scale energy companies. As such, the information on the website is dense and technical, with many white papers, charts, economic analysis, and statistics of all kinds. In order to accommodate the information in an easy-to-scan manner, I used a strong two-column grid and simple icons to lead the reader through the document.

Fab2Farm: Other Layouts

The fab2farm website is designed with a highly technical audience in mind. Intended for utility-scale energy companies and engineers, it focuses on delivering important data explaining new technologies. The site capitalizes on the common visual associations of the sun while maintaining a fun, attractive look and feel.
